Are You Always Feeling Tired? This Might Be Why

It is estimated that about one-third of the entire population, from teens to seniors, feel tired at all times. There can be a number of reasons for this, including a variety of medical issues for which fatigue is a symptom. So, although constantly feeling tired is not necessarily rare, it’s still something that needs to be looked into, especially if it lasts for many weeks or months. A doctor’s advice is a good thing to have.

However, a lot of the time, being fatigued has a non-medical reason; it’s much more to do with your lifestyle. This is good news; if your tiredness is there for non-medical reasons, it is much easier to fix and is something that you can work on yourself. Read on to find out what some of the reasons for this fatigue might be and what to do about it.

Being Stressed

Being stressed is not good for your health at all, and it can lead to all kinds of potentially very serious problems, including heart disease and high blood pressure. As well as this, however, being stressed can lead to a feeling of constant exhaustion. There are various reasons for this to be the case, but the main one is that when you are stressed, your body and brain are never truly able to relax. As a result, even when you sleep, you will be on the alert for issues, and that means that, even if you think you are sleeping well, you aren’t. In fact, when you are stressed, you are almost certainly sleeping very poorly, and this, of course, means that you feel tired when you wake up and throughout the day, only for the cycle to start again.

To combat this issue, it’s wise to deal with your stress. This is easier said than done in a lot of cases and may involve asking for outside help, but it will be worth it. Moving house is a stressful time, for example, but with good conveyancing solicitors in Lichfield, you can have a much smoother moving process. Financial issues can also cause a lot of stress, and finding help from a financial advisor will relieve some of your stress. No matter what the issue is, there will be someone to help you, and asking for help is the first step.

Living a Sedentary Lifestyle

As strange as it might seem, living a sedentary lifestyle can actually make you feel very tired, even if you would think it would be the opposite, and that doing nothing much at all would stop you from getting so fatigued. This problem is made worse by the fact that although exercise is crucial, especially when you have such a sedentary lifestyle, you will often feel too tired to do any, making the situation worse.

When you are more inactive, you will become more tired because your heart is not working as hard as it should be, and therefore less oxygen is being pumped around your body. This leads the brain and other organs to go down to a lower level of working to cope with the amount of oxygen they have on hand, thus making the body tired.

The best way to deal with this issue is to start exercising every day. The more you exercise, the better your body will work, and the less tired – ironically – you will feel.
